As of noon Eastern this coming Friday, Bedford Falls officially becomes Pottersville, though the seeds were planted quite a while ago.

I remember the fuss to make Obama give up his Blackberry for security reasons. Isn't anybody trying to stop this buffoon from tweeting?

The GOP has controlled the parameters of the argument for quite a while now. Let's hope even they won't be able to stomach it much longer.

I get emails from MoveOn.org, and this is link for the Sister Marches all over the world.

https://www.womensmarch.com/sisters?source=moveon

Sister Marches are solidarity events inspired by the Women's March on Washington, and organized by volunteers around the world. If you can't make it to Washington, D.C. on January 21, join or host a Sister March near you.

NUMBER OF MARCHES: 616                            SISTER MARCHERS (EST): 1,032,110

The above numbers change by the minute.

New Mexico is having seven in the whole state. I will be attending the one in Albuquerque.

Neighbors and I will be on the Mall Saturday.

At least one of my coworkers will be there too, with the American Association of University Women.

Yes, but will they be able to make him stop? I'm sure if they try he'll throw a fit.

(I was about to write "throw a fit like a teenage girl," but I don't want to insult teenage girls.)

Impeachment with conviction is one method!

Then they get Pence, whom they've wanted all along.

But...the weather might put a damper on everything here in Los Angeles.  We literally have not had significant rainfall in
Southern California for the past 7 years. This year we're actually having some rain occasionally!  The National Weather
Service today says, "A round of three storms will take aim at California this week and this weekend. Each storm will bring
locally drenching rain and heavy mountain snow, with the potential for flooding and travel disruptions.

HERE THEY COME...

"The first storm will spread southward through California on Wednesday and Thursday with a second to follow Friday,
lingering into Saturday. A third storm will swing in Sunday and may have major impacts that linger into Tuesday.
Incidents of urban flooding are likely in Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, California. They
may have a significant impact as far east as Palm Springs and Las Vegas."

As our local NBC weatherman said last night, "We're expecting three storms, but it will more likely
seem to you like one long storm from Wednesday night to Tuesday morning!"

I'm sure that this will lessen the turnout of the Los Angeles demonstrations.

I've heard the drought situation in California has really dropped from dangerous levels to more manageable now.  Will any of these three storms hit areas that still really need water?

Probably not, not when he is days away from being the next President of the United States and when he says NATO is obsolete.   8)

Impeachment with conviction is one method!

I rather doubt you can be impeached and convicted for tweeting. ...

seemed like a good move to me. she's suffered enough. seven years is much more than a lot of others got. (eg, David Patreus.)
