Exclusive: Jan. 6 Committee Prepares to Subpoena Alex Jones’ Texts, Emails

The January 6th House committee is preparing to request the trove of Alex Jones’s text messages and emails revealed Wednesday in a defamation lawsuit filed by victims of the Sandy Hook massacre, Rolling Stone has learned.

On Wednesday, Sandy Hook victims’ attorney Mark Bankston told Jones that his attorney had mistakenly sent Bankston three years worth of the conspiracy theorist’s emails and text messages copied from his phone..

I am so very very happy about this! Another article I read about this says that the lawyer for the parents will be turning the file over to the Jan. 6 committee, barring the presiding judge ruling not to. But I don't think that's going to happen!!

And this is just the compensatory phase of the trial against Jones. They still have to decide the punitive part (i.e., to punish him for what he did).

I was wondering about the Cheney influence in Wyoming. You'd think it would remain pretty strong, but the state GOP, which remains in overwhelming control in that underpopulated state, seems to have gone completely over to the dark side.

Alex Jones ordered to pay $45.2M more over Sandy Hook lies

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A Texas jury on Friday ordered conspiracy theorist Alex Jones to pay $45.2 million in punitive damages to the parents of a child who was killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, adding to the $4.1 million he has to pay for the suffering he put them through by claiming for years that the nation’s deadliest school shooting was a hoax.

Sadly, per above, it appears so.  Jones' lawyer admitted that was their strategy, "to minimize compensatory damages " knowing there's a cap on punative per person - all along.  I still gotta think that the suing attorneys also knew this - so maybe there's yet another play coming to milk that SOB dry.  At least one of his LLCs has already declared bankruptcy to shelter itself.   IMHO, the PTB, courts and juries, should seize everything he or anyone connected to him owns if _any_ $ from his years of lies contributed to or paid for it - claw-back to the max.   Karma.
