I think Barbara Valentin is omitted in the movie, Ingy. The Munich days are presented as a really dark time.

Too bad.

Now I feel even less inclined to go watch BR.

She could be played by Margot Robbie.
EDITED TO ADD:  I was staring at that photo for a bit and THIS came to mind!

Karen Black from Trilogy of Terror.

--Mission: Impossible - Fallout

A lot of my friends who saw this last year said this was a really entertaining film so I rented (NetFlix) it this weekend.
I actually would've liked it a bit more if I'd seen it in a theater, but I did enjoy the ride. A lot of these kinds of movies
get way too complicated and you end up watching action sequences with no context, but this one keeps giving you what
you need to know and offers a whole lot of chills and spills. Heh...I was just thinking of the title "Fallout." There's a lot of
people falling out of everything in this movie...buildings, planes, helicopters, mountain ledges, vans, cars, motorcycles,
boats...you name it! Twists and turns abound.

^^^^ Ditto.  I actually enjoyed the film and in general, I skip all of Cruise's films.

The last Cruise flick I actually enjoyed was "Top Gun"  Ever since he went in deep with the "L. Ron Hubbard crowd," I marked him and his films down as firm I'll pass.   To each his own.

OMG. Brokeback Mountain is on TV tonight. I hadn't watched it in a quite while but it still has the same effect. I'm pretty much bawling my eyes out, lol!

I haven't watched it in years, so it's nice to know it's holding its power.

Of the 8 films nominated for Best Film, Roma would be at the bottom of my list.

I guess I'm going to have to rent Blackklansman......but Black Panther? An Oscar-worthy film? I saw it, unfortunately I thought it was going to be a LOUD one, didn't wear my hearing aid, couldn't hear half the dialogue so had to try to follow the storyline visually. But an Oscar nom film? No, I would NEVER have thought that......others persuaded me to see the film. I rarely see Action Figure films. But I did this one......who knew it would get this attention? Maybe it's just a nod to it's tremendous box-office figures?! hmmmm?

I hope Glenn Close wins though! Haven't seen The Wife either, will try too!! She's a great actress, IMHO, you understand?! I do so hope that Viggo and Ali win their categories!! Great acting by both......

I just cannot agree that a foreign film can be a nom for BOTH best picture AND best foreign film. Something wrong with that concept, IMHO, you understand?!  ;D
