Not unhappy that Olivia Colman won Best Actress,
but can't imagine what I'd feel like if I was in Glenn Close's position.

Thank you Lyle. To answer your question, yes I have seen several; Bohemian Rhapsody, Green Book, Vice, The Favourite plus Can You Ever Forgive Me and Beautiful Boy.

I don't get Netflix so haven't seen Roma. I absolutely hated The Favourite while recognising the quality of the performances. Like you I loved Green Book and also I really liked Can You Ever Forgive Me. I have no idea why Timothee Chalamet wasn't nominated for Beautiful Boy. It was a terrific performance but who can ever fathom the Oscars.

I can't stand B. Affleck, but he does a good job here in Fincher's movie I have to admit.

I enjoyed 'The Favourite' but did not think it was marvellous and thought it was a bit over the top in the humour. Certainly did not hate it. I am glad Olivia Colman got the award although I did not see the Glenn Close movie as it was on here while I was travelling in the UK.

I think I saw this film on a flight across the Pond, waaaaay back when...I think? I can't sleep on a plane, well, or ANYTHING moving, even though I try, with help from Tylenol PM, so the films I watched flying to and from Europe are all kinda BLURRY to me....
