Because of MLB's COVID tracing policy, Jonn, your boy Eric Hosmer is on the ten day IL. He doesn't have positive COVID tests, but two of his teammates he roommates with now do and so he has to go on the IL list because of that, as I understand it. Does anyone know people who have to have COVID tests every day in their work environment? Does one get used to it? It sounds like such a pain...etc.

Ing's husband doesn't go into work every day, but when he does (by train to France), he has to get tested. It's pretty uncomfortable.

^^^^^ At least twice a week, every week. It's that nasal swab test each time. Poor man!

Noo Awlins knows how to introduce the coming season in style!

There's a Rudy reference too. Actually, two.

And Drew has a cameo too.

A nasal swab sounds like an annoying sailor.

Dodgers  :-\

Another injury. Star shortstop Corey Seager got hit by a pitch that fractured his hand. And Cody Bellinger has been out for over a month so far after an opposing player stomped on his foot.

We have 5 position players now on the IL and one of them has to have surgery that will keep him out the rest of the season.

We have one starting pitcher who developed an arm issue requiring season ending surgery.

And our bullpen (relievers) have been knocked down like a game of ten pins.  TEN relievers on the IL right now and two of them will be out for the season.

Sheesh! With all that i'm surprised we're doing as well as we are at this point.

Do other teams have injuries like this all the time and I just don't follow them so I don't know?
Are they playing baseball or football?
