I prefer the second quilt, Nancy, but the first is also very nice. I don't see how you can go wrong. :)

What Jenny said. Both quilts are great, Nancy.

Ingomyheart, I don't see how Mr. S can get anywhere unless he drives. In fact I imagine the traffic will be hell, since so much transportation is disrupted. I wish him and you good luck.

Thanks, dear Jennyleinchen.

I just received a mail from Mr S - he made it - he walked, he ran, and forty minutes later (on top of the train ride and the bike ride here before) he arrived at work.

He's my hero!!

I'm proud of my Mr S. !

Bonjour! Another ice-cold and sunny winter morning. Frozen, blue skies, perfect.

Good morning!

Glad you're happy with the weather.

What I'll never get is that these striking people make everyday life HELL for people like themselves, people who are on their side. They should do harm to the RESPONSIBLE authorities.

Yes - what other effective ways are there to do it?

Marathon man !

Can he take the bike on the train and ride it from the border?

Cyclists here can do so.

So glad to hear he made it safely!  As if work wasn't hard enough without going through all that just to get there  :(  Will he stay or try to come home?

A good job he did, something to be proud of.  No wonder he's your hero, Ingy.

Still very sorry for his ordeal, and I hope the situation doesn't continue for long.

Hey Debbie!

Hey Nancy!

I guess I got sidetracked by the radio programs last night and missed coming back here!

Good morning, Fritz.

I have that eye doctor appointment to get ready for, so will be leaving soon.

But I wanted to let anyone know, who might have read yesterday's post, that my PCP doctor did NOT have a heart attack.  Whew!  I just called again, the office will be opening later today, but he was called out of town on a family emergency and will be back on Monday.  (It is more likely that his father or someone had a heart attack, not that that's good news).

See you later.
