Bedtime for me. Good night, Diner friends.

See y'all tomorrow.

Good night, Ingy.

I just realized I'm going to be celebrating my birthday not being very mobile. Oh well!

Oh, too bad, Linda, but I suppose it is worth it.  Maybe they will bring you cake in bed.   :)

Tomorrow there'll be a general strike in France, one of the worst that the country has experienced in more than two decades. Virtually nothing will be working.

Poor Mr S - his trains from here will only reach the border, and he's got no idea how he'll get into Strasbourg's city center and back home again. It's way too far to walk. Everything will be jammed, so even hitchhiking isn't an option.

At least tomorrow and Friday.

Hopefully, these strikes won't continue into next week.

 >:(

Oh, good luck to Mr. S and his next two days of commute!

A good reason to spend your birthday in bed,  being waited on.

Hey Chuck!

Bonne nuit et schlaft gut Ingfiolino!

Werd ich zum Augenblicke sagen, "Verweile doch! Du bist so schön..."

My feelings exactly, Chuck!   ;D

Hope you had a good day yourself today, by the way.

I did.  Got my work done, and I ended up getting a new laptop configured with Windows 10.

Everyone is getting a new laptop at work.

Hi Chuck, nice about the new laptop at work.  Have you used Windows 10?  I have it at work and home and like it a lot.

Hi Linda!

if anyone wants to weigh in on this life-changing decision  ::) please do. I've been looking at these quilts for 3 days and can't decide which one to get...

Sounds nice.  I have never had or used a laptop, I still have a full-size desk-top PC with about a 17-inch monitor.

Great for poor eyes and fingers that aren't too nimble, but I know there are advantages to having a laptop that's smaller, and that you can carry around.

Hi, Nancy.  I like the top one most myself, with the houses, and the mostly red color scheme.

It seems more unique.

But the bottom one is more traditional, and very cheery.
