Last night before going to bed I could look through the kitchen window and see the half moon rising, just a little more than half, it looked nice.

Awww, must have looked sweet.

The wind here is very changeable, it can be pretty calm one minute and gusty the next. Weather Underground says it should continue that way till about 6 or so, then calm down, with the temp dropping all afternoon. So it shouldn't be too bad for practice tonight. And tomorrow we should leave at 1 or so for the oncologist appointment, it should be back above freezing by then.

Hello! Wind and rain here too, after lovely sun yesterday.
Sorry about your throat, Debbie. Hope it doesn’t turn into anything bad.

Linda, I’m thinking about your clean towel every day. Some people might find that really difficult!

Hey Fritz!
I’m sitting in my comfy chair about to watch some recorded tv. A bit earlier (4.30) than I usually settle down, but it’s horrible and dark outside, and I have at least done my tai chi class.

At least you don't have to be constantly worried about losing power whenever the wind kicks up over there!  ;D

It's not that windy here really, but all it takes is a tree falling on our overhead lines somewhere to really mess things up.

I always use a clean towel each time I shower -- well, bathe -- (except just to dry off my hands by the sink), and usually use two wash cloths every day.  I guess that's why I have so much laundry, and can't carry it down the stairs under my arm.   ;)

Thanks, Sara.  I went back to bed for an hour or so after breakfast, and now I've had lunch, and feel a little better.  But the throat is still sore.  I'll probably take some medicine for it after the house cleaners leave. Or even now, but I don't want it to put me to sleep while they're here.  It'll be DAY-Quil, not NIGHTtime Nyquil.

Hi, Fritz.  Good luck with your power.

Enjoy that comfy chair, Sara, sounds like just the place to be on a day like this.

Hi, Sara.

But I’m clean after my bath or shower!

True, but after I dry off on the towel, it's wet, and I like a fresh, folded one from the clothes dryer for next time.

You're doing it the usual way, though; I know most people just hang up their bath towels on a towel rod or something to dry out, if there's room to spread them out.

But my wash cloths definitely do get dirty, as well and soapy, from washing my face or whatever, so I like to wash them afterwards, too, and get fresh ones the next day.

Well, the house cleaners have come and gone.

Going to heat up some leftover salmon/broccoli/seasoned rice from yesterday, and then get some rest.

The DayQuil did help, but my throat is still a bit sore.  I just happen to have an appointment with my PCP doctor tomorrow, because she wants to check blood pressure again, since it was unusually high the first time I met with her.  She's not expecting to treat a sore throat, but I'll see what she says.

Have to catch the CBS News at 6:30, since I won't be around for all of the NBC due to choir practice.

I'll grab something before the news, then something more after I get back.
