From watching this episode--MEMO TO FEMALE BALLERINAS--make sure you audition for ballet companies where the men involved are gay. (What? Gay men in ballet companies?)  ::)

That's the stereotype, but not even gay men in ballet are immune.

The three things that are keeping me sane through this Isolation lark !

1) The showing of episodes of  "Mash"  every day. Loved them all the first
time around...and all the other times too !!! Fabulous scripts and characters.

2)  Daily episodes of "Mike and Molly" . Also hilarious scripts... great actors.

I record all the episodes and watch them in the in the evening to counteract
all the misery that is broadcast about Covet-19.

3) This Forum is also playing it's part in keeping me entertained.
    God bless BBM.  :)

I'm watching a lot of those kinds of things, too. (But I do anyway!  ;D ). I'm also watching less news about the subject, though, because it's too much. There are websites that have basic information one might need. The rest IMO is just TMI. Everyone can judge for themselves how much they can take in for their own sanity.

Not much of Eddie or Buck in last night's episode of 9-1-1. But Hen was chattin' it up with everybody. The ending seemed more like a stunt, like a step outside reality.

That's a good way to put it. I'll look forward to the explanation for why those guys would take over a 9-1-1 call center, and why they would let their faces be seen (I presume because we need to know that the leader is Josh's gay basher). I'm guessing we won't get a reason for why they let their faces be seen, but maybe they've got buddies robbing a bank, or something, and they want to prevent the police being called.

We haven't seen much of Athena these past two episodes, and then only in domestic situations. She'll probably be kickin' butt the next episode. I can't remember from the preview: Who was in that police cruiser with her?

We saw so much of Eddie and Buck the first half of the season I wouldn't be surprised to see less of them in the second half--but then why bring in the love interest (Christopher's teacher) for Eddie if you're not going to make a big deal about it? I think Eddie looks better now that his hair is longer again. I didn't think that close-cropped look was particularly becoming.

And why two weeks until the next episode?

I wonder what effect the COVID-19 crisis will have/is having on TV show production?

Was wondering that myself. It's not a holiday. The only thing I could think of is that it was preplanned to be a rerun day, because it was the likely day of the final game of March Madness, which the past few years has extended into April. Shows often rerun episodes up against noted sporting events or awards ceremonies.

Just a guess.

I found this article in the Hollywood Reporter from March 18th.

TV Has Mostly Stopped Production. What Happens Next?
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/tv-has-stopped-production-what-happens-next-1285099

The article says that a Writer's Strike was possible around the end of April.

Another article linked in this one:
Hollywood Could Take $20 Billion Hit From Coronavirus Impact.

Yikes!

I have been looking for info to see if 9-1-1 had finished their season. No luck yet.

I did find out that Modern Family had finished theirs. It's the last season. Imagine if they hadn't?

They have one episode tonight and next week is their last week since starting in 2009! Two episodes next week plus an hour retrospective special.

It's also Will & Grace's last season of the revival. They have three left beginning April 9th, which is the We Love Lucy episode where they recreate three famous scenes from the series. Will plays Ricky in all three scenes, but the other three cast.members take turns as Lucy. On the night of April 23rd there's also a retrospective special in addition to the final episode.

The new F/X Fargo installment has been delayed from April 19th to later in the year. They had shut down with 2 of the 10 episodes yet to film.
_______

9-1-1 UPDATE: I found a Variety article from a couple weeks ago that said:

Fox’s “9-1-1” shows, and HBO’s “Insecure” — have already finished production for the season.

Which should mean 5 more new episodes left.

All the Shows and Movies Shut Down or Delayed Because of Coronavirus

The Variety one isn't updated but I doubt any of them have restarted in two weeks. I did note that two shows I watch have stopped production, Young Sheldon and Law and Order: SVU, but I don't know how many episodes they've completed. Or will show if they have completed them. One thing I read is that some shows are going to stockpile some episodes they've finished for the fall. So who really knows?

Seems logical, though.

I know good ol' TV Guide can be wrong, at least partly, I'm sure, because printing dates must run pretty far ahead, but, anyway, this week's edition shows Fox apparently rerunning the fall finale/Christmas episode ("holiday incidents").

Thanks for all that research! I'm not surprised that L&O: SVU is shut down; my understanding is that it shoots in New York City. I should try to do some research of my own to see if I can find out what's up with Blue Bloods. If is isn't already finished for the season, I'm sure it's shut down because, I believe, it also shoots in New York.

On a slightly different note, Friday night is the series finale of Hawaii Five-O. It's funny, I guess, but even after ten seasons I still think of it as "the new" Hawaii Five-O. I will miss it. It's been a staple of my viewing. I'm a fan of Alex O'Loughlin, whom I think was born for action roles such as Steve McGarrett. I've always liked it that the reboot respected the original--at least, I've always felt it did--while still being different.

I guess this is my answer about Blue Bloods as well as L&O: SVU.

Jeff and Lyle, I'm still watching 9-1-1, but I gotta tell you it's a struggle! lol...this week's show was just too weird for me. I think I don't like how it jumps from one crisis to another, never fleshing out the characters involved, and maybe too large a main cast? Either way, Bassett is just OFF for that role, and Chim's GF?? I understand the crisis she had in her Life before, and all that, but honestly, there is ZERO chemistry between the two on-screen. She acts like if she kisses him she'll catch Cooties or whatever? No PASSION at all with them, and he's not much better at it.......maybe they should watch the Reunion scene in BBM and get CLUE about kissing with WILD PASSIONATE ABANDON!! haha...... ;D ;)......I'll stay with it since a couple of the other characters I do like... ;D.....
