I got a message from my niece in California during the lecture, but held off answering until I signed off. She thought that watching a lecture in Germany while I was sitting at home in Virginia was lovely!

She's the one who is the voice actress.

 :)

And I hope you hear something from Earl soon, and that he is well.

Debbie, glad to hear things are moving forward on the house sale. ;D Take care of yourself and don't forget to get those groceries in. There won't be any big fireworks displays here, but I'm guessing a lot of people will be having barbeques and family gatherings and stocking up on food and drink. Probably a lot of folks will go to the shore or to the various state parks, but I'm not planning to be in those places.

Thanks, Jenny.  Sorry I missed you, but I was exhausted and slept for over two hours between 6:00 and 8:15 this evening.

Well, it's just land that we're selling, there's no house on our piece, but the sellers have basically agreed to everything and all is moving ahead.  There are just so many complications to work out, especially since the three sellers (my brother, sister and I) are in three different states and the property is in a fourth state.  But it shouldn't be long.

That's such a lame excuse, I got the test done, it's 10 seconds discomfort and then it's over, they are testing in the schools here and there has been no complaints at all, honestly, better to know that your child is in a sure environment than this constant uncertainty!

Absolutely, Elena.

It has also been suggested that some people who still have a job are afraid that if a test showed they were infected, they would have to isolate ay home  and not go to work and would lose income, so they refuse too be tested.

Good luck on your reading, Ingy!

Hi, Elena, Elisa, Sara, Tony and whoever else is here or was here.

Another morning of waiting for emails, once I finally got up....after not feeling well earlier. I decided to "take today off" and not do a supermarket delivery today.  May go to the bank later if some checks come, but there's no hurry, that doesn't have to be today.  Time for late breakfast now.

Hello Debbie

Have a good day.

Hi, Tony.  That's awful to think that people would be irresponsible enough to keep on working, while spreading the disease.

Hello!

I forgot I had a zoom meeting at 8:00.  I remembered at about 8:10.  It was with the bowling league, so thankfully I hadn't missed anything important.

I missed all the news, but just now turned on CNN, and they're talking about something Dr. Anthony Fauci apparently said today, about an extremely great increase in corona virus cases that could be coming.

I won't be surprised to see this happening, given the increases and spikes we're seeing now.

Polar bears are very cuddly. From a distance.

Especially when global warming has deprived them of their habitat and sources of food.

It went pretty well.

Technically, there were a lot of problems to be solved until the very last minute, but somehow it worked. It was even fun.

And quite a number of friends attended!

Congratulations, Ingy !

Hello Tony.  Yes, I can see some people refusing to test because of this.   I also wonder about the element of fear, not wanting to know if they have the virus.  I've heard people say they don't want to go to the doctor because they're afraid of bad news.

Those people definitely believe that ignorance is bliss.

Well, I'm fairly much awake now, after that long nap, so I think I'll do a Crossword game before bed.

On Friday we'll celebrate Mr S's 56th birthday.

We're lucky since that day he doesn't have to go to Strsbg. We'll figure out something nice. I hope the weather holds.
You could COOK for HIM that day!!  :o :P
