This afternoon an elderly lesbian friend, well more an acquaintance really as I don’t know her very well, is coming for tea. She is 88, and her long term partner died after a difficult illness a couple of months ago, so we didn’t have a church funeral, which is so sad. I used to be a little nervous of J, as she had quite an abrupt manner - it was her partner who was a much cheerier person. But I think she is gentler nowadays. I wasn’t sure if she would feel like coming over, but she seemed pleased when I asked her, so I hope we’ll find enough to talk about.

Thanks Elena, I'm hoping I do as well. I don't like family drama, and think it's stupid to have it anytime but especially now, but no one listens to me! :(

Have a good one and stay well.

Hoping for a better day for you today, Linda.  Family drama is so hard to take.   :(

Hi, Sara.  Hope you enjoy tea with your guest today.

Hi, Ingy and everyone else who's not actually "green" at the moment.

I was awake very early, so had breakfast and then spent some time online, making up a supermarket delivery order.  I'm getting the "fast and flexible" option, which means next available shopper, so I need to get ready in case they show up soon.  Don't really expect them for a couple of hours, but you never know.  They send a text when the shopper actually starts shopping.

 >:D >:D >:D

Since the Victorian Premier announced the 10 Melbourne postcodes which will be locked down for four weeks from midnight tonight, 301 people have made online applications to have their addresses on their driver's licence changed so they can get through police checkpoin and drive out of them.

We could have met then, in 93 we already lived in Paris, Mr S and I.

That would have probably saved me from starvation
