And this is not good all the way around. I know here, that psychologically, people don't have a whole lot of hope, when not seeing an end in sight. I know for me, receiving even the first shot, has given me a lot more hope about there being a light at the end of the tunnel. When you don't have this, it is hard to take psychologically.

Yes - that's exactly where we're at, right now. No light. And stuck in the middle of the tunnel.

No idea when we will get the first shot.

It's an interesting conversation, and I hope it carries on.

Absolutely.

When one supports an unpopular stance, one pays a price, whether it's deserved or not.

Sad as it is: that's true.

In Australia, it takes many years of peaceful protests and campaigning to achieve progress.

I see.

It feels like that's how it is around the world.  Progress at a snail's pace.

Great! Never did get the hang of Canasta.

Just won the badge.  I'd forgotten which animal it was, but it was the Monkey Zodiac Badge.

I honestly thought it would be a lot harder than it was, but these four-person games are just different, but okay once you learn the different strategy.  Your partner is a big help in winning, if you can work as a team.  (Even if the partner is a robot.  ;)

Hello Chuck and Brian

Australis is lagging very badly behind. Electric cars are all priced in the luxury range. There are apparently charging stations.
I think you would be surprised. It is hard to get comparative figures but new sales of EVs in Australia are just below 2%.  NZ is 2.8%
USA is 2% but California is 7.6%   Germany, France, UK are in the low teens. However Norway is 74.7%
