Sorry to hear that, Debs!

Hi, Chuck, thanks.  About the delay with the tests?  Yes, I'd rather get them out of the way sooner, but I guess April will be okay.  I'm not having particular problems, this year.

I've already got the dentist and the eye doctor scheduled for six-month visits in April 2022, wheeee!

Now I have fingers crossed that the cardiologist won't want me to come back for any tests, but it's possible, because I think he wanted to repeat something in two years, and I was last there in the fall before COVID started (2019).  Last year, he just renewed a prescription by phone, without an office visit, due to COVID.  So I'll find out about any followup tests when I see him on Tuesday.

Expecting delivery of an updated credit card with new expiration date (one which I use to pay a lot of accounts automatically). So naturally, the mail is late!

The afternoon got a little busy, but not overly-so.  Everything appears to be caught up on.

The card did arrive, it's activated, and I've changed the expiration date on as many recurring accounts as I could think of. Some make it easy, just to update the year and security number, others make you put in all the information new as if you're using a different card number. Most important was the billing to Kaiser, since that occurs at the beginning of next month. (I had already received a letter from them about it.)

Hope your mail has come by now, Fritz.

My mail was late yesterday, not even there the last time I checked last night.  I found it there this morning and brought it in, but I knew it was yesterday's because of what Informed Delivery had told me.

So today, I saw the truck outside very late, and brought the mail in at almost 4:00.  It's usually here by 1:30, sometimes earlier, but I think there may be a substitute driver this week.

Ah, glad it's taken care of, Fritz.

And glad your afternoon work is caught up, Chuck.

The four leaf bags from yesterday were all taken away sometime before I left this morning (I heard the yard waste truck at about 8:30).  Then later, after today's doctor appointment, when I drove up to my house, I found one more leaf bag, all packed full and standing down by my mailbox.

Looked like Tony had collected some leaves from my driveway while the car was gone, although there are still plenty of uncollected leaves on the lawn and sidewalk.

I'm afraid I haven't gotten much done with the exercises today, although the doctor's building had a lot of long hallways and the nurse even apologized for having me walk so far.  I just said, that's okay, this is my daily walk.

But I was going to do other ones, like the ankle weights, when I got home, but just haven't felt up to it.  First there were medical phone calls, then I had to lie down after lunch because I wasn't feeling well, and then I was making copies of some blood test results to take to the cardiologist on Tuesday.  Now it's dinner time.  I think when I have other outside appointments, I just shouldn't expect to do much exercise at home.

I am at least trying to do a little balancing, and some of the knee exercises, because my knee has been hurting and stretching it might help.
