Hiya again, Chuck. I'm glad you had a good day.

I got a haircut today and then went to pick up a few groceries. I went to Walmart, and halfway through found out the restrooms were not working!

BAD NEWS!!!!

Walmart MUST have dependable restrooms!!

Phong has been rostered on for 5 hour shifts as a room attendant on Saturday and Sunday after next.

Is this his first time going back to work?

It got down to 33° here last night. The winds have dropped a little, but will be back up tomorrow. I thought about you!

I remember on the freighter home to New Orleans from Rotterdam in 1967, the wife of the captain was on board. She was English, and in the evening frequently wore dresses which were not easy to get in and out of. One of the passengers remarked about it, and her explanation was, "When I go out, I just leave my kidneys at home."

I hadn't thought about that in years till you were talking about Wal-Mart.

In another context, when I used to drive down from the North suburbs to South Lakewood, when staying with my mom and going down to visit my sister, I always relied on Walmart for its bathroom on the way, so I wouldn't be so over-anxious to use the one at my sister's house when I arrived.

You could usually count on Walmart's to be available.

I had to turn the A/C on, just for a little while, because it was getting overly warm upstairs and adding to my head not feeling well.  Starting to feel a little better already, after just a few minutes.

Tomorrow is a haircut.  Possibly time to look for a new watch battery, but probably not.
Friday is the driveway sealcoating, I'll be home.
Monday is the tree-trimming, I'll be home.
Tuesday is the cardiologist appointment at the big hospital, which will require a lot of driving and a lot of walking.

Next Wednesday all depends on how things go, it would be POSSIBLE to try to apply for a Real-ID then at the DMV, but not if other things don't go right.  (They have to send the application out to another DMV office not in this neighborhood, that's why I say apply for one, not actually get one that day.)
