Oh, guess what!  There weren't any Fruit Loops in the bags that they brought!

I'm not sure why, but maybe the shopper got my message "no cereal" before she actually checked out.

But I did put one other mistake in the Postman's bag.  It was a picture that looked good online, little noodles and veggies, and I thought it was frozen food.  But instead it turned out to be a small bag.  You're supposed to open the bag, dump it in a saucepan, add milk (with margarine optional) and heat it on the stove.  Well, I don't normally keep milk in the house, so that would just be too much cooking and preparation for my taste, or my style.  So I'm giving that food item away, rather than bother with it.

Getting really tired again, so I'm going back to bed....or rather, going there for real this time.  Hope no strange dreams tonight.

Have a good day with your parents tomorrow, if I don't see you before you leave.

You stopped the fruit loops!

Somehow, yes!  That would have been so funny if they'd actually arrived.

Well, tomorrow is my COVID second booster, at 1:30 PM.  I just got a reminder from Albertson's, which is tied in with the ACME and maintains its COVID database.

So I'd better get some rest now.  I hope there aren't any side-effects from the booster, but if there are, I have Sunday and most of next week to recover.  Nothing scheduled for a while.

G'nite Debbie, hope to show up briefly here before I leave for church, and maybe before I head up to Frederick too. And inbetween I've got to get up to B&N's to take in the mail and feed the birds.

Oh Debbie, here's the blurb for tomorrow night's HJSN:

Australian jazz has known some great brother teams – brothers Roger and Graeme Bell, Len and Bob Barnard. Trumpeter and cornetist Bob Barnard died earlier this week. He made his first records on his sixteenth birthday in 1949, recording with Len’s band, played later with Frank Johnson’s Dixielanders before leading bands of his own. Listen to early recordings of Bob Barnard this week on Hot Jazz Saturday Night.

Tony, Australian jazz!

Yes, Fritz. I remember them.

From that era, I also remember enjoying Smacka Fitzgibbon and his band's music. I've probably got my parents' 78 somewhere of one of the pieces with their audience, including my cousin, singing along.

Yay, Tony!

Hey y'all, cloudy and mild here, there's rain all around, none here at the moment.

Getting ready to head out, but I won't have to be there till 9:30, we won't need much practice since we'll be singing the same music as last Saturday.

Hey Debbie!

Hello Diners!

Hope you're all well.  ;D

I'm picking up mom and dad at noon to meet family for lunch and then a round of mini golf,  and then I'm meeting friends for dinner and a show.
