Hiya TDS readers!

After posting TDS for this week, KillersMom got some information regarding a great story about Gregory Hinton, the man who gave us the Beyond Brokeback experience.

We will be featuring a story on this in next week's TDS, but in case you want to mark your calendars now, check out these links, the same story, once posted in the Gay History thread, and in the Films & Theater thread.

That's a great story about the gay fairy tale, Chuck. I saw that it was available on Amazon.UK, but the looked it up on Amazon.US and it is available as well. YAY!

Linda and Chuck,
There’s an online virtual gallery showing some of the illustrations for The Dog and the Sailor created for an English language version of the original mid-1800s Danish folk tale here, plus an accompanying 16-minute audio/visual presentation of the story, with narration and music, at the bottom of the page.
...there was no real scent, only the memory of it, the imagined power of Brokeback Mountain...

Oh, liked that a lot!

Richard Grenell: What an embarrassment he's been.

I'm not sure I understand the first paragraph of that article:

Out former Trump administration official Richard Grenell had some stern words for journalists who tried to ask him about his failed global initiative to decriminalize homosexuality.

If he's a "former TA official", what has he got to do with a Kosovo-Serbia deal and answering questions about it at the White House now?

The article says: Grenell is currently working for an anti-LGBTQ Christian conservative organization and helping the Republican party with LGBTQ outreach.

Only in Trump's Republican party would that above sentence make any sense at all. This POS spoke at the RNC last week and during his "outreach to gay people" he implied that LGBTQ rights come “at the expense of others”.  Trump finds the worst of humanity in every sector of it.

I like that the one reporter said to Grenell:  “I don’t think any of us came here for a lecture about our questioning.”
