Since this topic is getting a fair amount of traffic already, I decided to move it to the mainstream board! Bah Humbug too.

I'm waiting to see if there are any new gay Christmas movies this year.

I hope there will be!!

Well, to go to another holiday (one that's coming sooner), I just did a bunch of shopping for Halloween.

The last time I was in the office, a few other coworkers were there, and we were talking about the holidays, and how they missed my cookies at Christmas.  A few asked if I would do anything for Halloween.  I said I would think about it.

Sooooooooooo.....today I ordered some Halloween shaped cookie cutters, two silicone rolling mats, two silicone cookie baking sheets, and some Halloween food coloring and sprinkles.

I've decided I will make some sugar cookies with the Halloween cut-outs and decorate them.   Last year at Christmas we also made some pumpkin spice cookies that were really good, but didn't keep their shape too well when cooking, due to their cakey consistency.  So I ordered the two cookie forms,  and we'll do a trial run before we actually make them for others, to see how they turn out.

So the order I placed above, arrived today!   Only two days later!  Nice.

There's only one thing missing, some Halloween cookie decorations.

Pentatonix dropped their new Christmas album today, called EVERGREEN.

I've already ordered it.

The only tracks listed on the album so far are:

--It’s Been A Long, Long Time Lyrics
--I Just Called To Say I Love You

Does EVERGREEN mean songs that are always in vogue (referred to as Evergreens) no matter when they come out?
The two sound great and I love both of those songs, but I wonder if it's really a Christmas Album?

I would suggest going to a Halloween or party store, and looking for something like this.

https://www.amazon.com/Fun-World-Deluxe-Halloween-Costume/dp/B007VUJVJS/ref=asc_df_B007VUJVJS/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309830256687&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6683654159427206275&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9003465&hvtargid=pla-523344143264&psc=1

Basically, you would use the white makeup to make your face paler, don't put on any lipstick, you want your lips to look less lively.  Use black makeup around your eyes to make them look sunken in.

this particular kit comes with fake teeth you would hold in place with your upper lip, and fake wounds you would apply to make yourself look wounded.

The man came on the thread and says they only do the music for about 2 hours only on 2 weekend nights. The rest of the time the lights come on at dark and stay static, and go off about 10 pm. They also collect donations to help a local homeless shelter.

I think this is pretty cool!

He's been doing this for 6 years and does Halloween and christmas
